Pricing

How pricing works, in plain words: you know the cost before you commit, the price is fixed before the build starts, and nothing lands on your invoice you didn't decide on.

You find out the cost before you spend on the build

Before anything is built you get a written feasibility report: the direction I'd take, what it involves, and an honest cost. It's a paid service, at a fraction of what starting the build without it would cost, and it can just as easily point you at a leaner version or a smarter route.

The first conversation and the scoping that frames the report are free; what you pay for is the written recommendation. You decide whether to commit to the build knowing what the work really takes.

A fixed quote, not an open meter

After the feasibility report you get a fixed quote, before any build begins. The number reflects work I've actually scoped, not a hopeful estimate, so the cost is settled before you commit rather than climbing as the build goes on.

The quote follows the report, the point where the work is genuinely understood, so there's no open meter running while I figure the project out.

Changes go to the next version, not a silent bill

When requirements change mid-build, they don't quietly expand the scope and the cost. A change goes to a ledger for the next version instead, so you always know what you're paying for and when it lands.

The agreed quote keeps meaning what it said, and a new requirement stays your decision to make.

Fixed price, with a day rate when you need it

The default is the one that protects you best: a fixed quote after the feasibility report, so the cost is settled before any build starts. It rests on work I've actually scoped, so it doesn't climb as the project goes on.

Some businesses procure and bill by the day, and I can work that way when that's how you buy. Either way a small change goes to the change ledger and substantial new scope gets its own fixed quote, so nothing reaches your invoice you didn't agree to.

Tell me what you want to build. I'll find the way that fits your business.

The first conversation is free and in plain words. Then a paid feasibility report gives you the direction, the honest cost, and the right way forward, so you commit with confidence. source: How I work · step 03
